Membership is limited, and by application only. If approved, your two-year membership is free.
Matched Savings
There’s nothing better than a head start. Your MyAffordableHome membership provides you a $1 to $1 match added to each $20 deposit you make per pay period, up to $520 per year. In just two years, you’ll have $2,080 to help cover your costs of homeownership.
Access to Loans
If you’re like many or us, you have high-interest credit cards or installment loans that keep you from having extra money to save. Your MyAffordableHome membership gives you access to 0%-interest loans to pay those accounts in full, increasing your credit score, and freeing up funds for your “Keep My Home” account.
Keep My Home Account

Your success is our success. We’ll pair you with a Common Wealth Charlotte Certified Financial Health Counselor to work with you. You’ll enjoy the benefit of personalized attention to set your goals, tips and suggestions on how to achieve them, and step by step encouragement along the way.
Quarterly Check-Ins
All MyAffordableHome Members will have four specialized Zoom workshops each year (and occasionally dinner) just to learn something new, and encourage each other on their progress. Each time we’ll have a guest speaker, and cover some new ground on your journey to wealth-building through long-term homeownership.
